We are War Kiwi Studios, currently a three-man army based in the tropical paradise of Costa Rica. We love playing games (both board and video!) and we all share the same passion of thinking of fun ideas to bring to life as video games.
War Kiwi Studios was formed back in 2013, when we tried to make our own very first game. Of course, it was a bust, but we had no idea or experience. After a few years, we reunited again in 2019, with fresher, more mature minds and better skill set, and started working on small projects. We know we're a tiny development studio, but we're not the same as others: we're war kiwis. Have you ever seen a kiwi ready for war? No, right? Well, now you have!
The Puppeteer behind the scenes. The jack-of-all-trades, Pablo basically can do a bit of everything (except coffee, don't drink his coffee!). Part programmer, part musician, part modeler (modeler, not model), he usually nags people around him to move things forward, including himself.
The visual extravaganza machinist. Drawing is his real passion. You name it and Andrés can do it. Until he can’t. But then he will learn how to! Adobe lover, casual gamer and TV addict since birth. Dreams of becoming a superhero by night or a film director by night. Anything by night really, he is busy at daytime. Chocolate is a central piece in his life. Also he is a pharmacist. Strange how life goes right?
The audiovisual Shaman. If MacGyver had a son... it wouldn't be Rolando, but he loves all DIY stuff, though. Video/Music edition and composing are his biggest passions. He enjoys the freedom of drone flying and the satisfaction of preparing a good cocktail. Coffee lover since his early childhood (don't judge his parents); maybe it's the reason why he lives with ~6 hours of sleep everyday, or maybe it's the Arc Reactor in his chest... who knows!? Did we mention he is an electrical engineer? Oh well... there you go.
We'd love to hear from you! Comments, ideas, offers, critics: let us know. Just don't send spam, we've already got a lot of those.
